AdroFX is a forex and CFD brand founded in 2018. Its current websites advertise the Allpips platform, copy trading and Standard, Premium, Pro and Micro accounts. Those features may appeal to short-term traders, but regulation deserves more weight than platform convenience: the UK Financial Conduct Authority published a warning that AdroFX may have been providing services in the UK without authorisation.
Risk warning: leveraged derivatives are complex instruments. You can lose all of the money committed to a position, and losses can occur rapidly. Consider whether you understand the product and can afford the risk. This review is general information, not investment advice.
Our assessment separates the broker's own current disclosures from our editorial judgement. Terms, products and protections can change and can differ by country.
Our Verdict
AdroFX offers accessible CFD trading tools, but its offshore structure and the FCA warning materially weaken the case for depositing money. We regard it as a high-risk broker relationship, not as an equivalent substitute for a broker authorised in the client’s home market.
Fees and Trading Costs
The current AdroFX site advertises typical spreads of about 1.2 pips on Standard, 0.4 on Premium, 0.3 on Pro and 2.0 on Micro, with no trading commission. These are broker-published typical figures rather than guaranteed execution prices. The advertised first deposits are $100 for Standard, $2,000 for Premium, $10,000 for Pro and $50 for Micro. These figures replace older claims of a universal $25 minimum.
Overnight financing, conversion and payment-provider costs can still apply even where the broker advertises “zero commission” or “free funding”. Read the live account specification and withdrawal terms before paying. Bonus credit should never be treated as cash: promotions commonly include turnover and withdrawal conditions.
Platforms and Tools
AdroFX currently promotes Allpips as its main web trading environment, including copy trading. Some AdroFX pages also refer to MetaTrader 4, but the brand operates across several domains and the platform offering is not presented consistently. Confirm inside the official client area which company, platform and terms apply before installing software or transferring funds.
Copy trading transfers another person's positions; it does not transfer their circumstances, risk tolerance or future performance. Rankings can be affected by short histories and leverage. Treat copied positions as your own risk decisions.
Products and Market Access
The advertised range includes forex, index CFDs, metals, cryptocurrency CFDs and share CFDs. The Micro account is narrower, focusing on forex and metals. These are leveraged trading products, not a diversified custody account for long-term share ownership. Maximum leverage is advertised up to 1:500. At that level, a small adverse movement can consume margin very quickly.
Regulation and Client Protection
An AdroFX website identifies ADROMKT Limited as a Vanuatu company licensed by the VFSC. Vanuatu is an offshore jurisdiction and does not provide protections equivalent to the UK FSCS or an EU investor-compensation arrangement. A company registration in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines should not be described as forex-broker regulation.
The FCA's 16 December 2022 warning says AdroFX was not authorised by the FCA and that UK consumers would not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or FSCS. This warning is highly relevant even for non-UK readers because it demonstrates the need to verify local authorisation. Claims about segregated funds or “insurance” should not be treated as a statutory guarantee without policy wording, insured entity, exclusions and an independently verifiable insurer.
Who Is AdroFX For?
AdroFX may interest experienced traders specifically seeking Allpips or small contract sizes and who understand offshore counterparty risk. It is unsuitable for UK residents, users who require a domestic complaint route or compensation scheme, and beginners who may interpret a low deposit, bonus or copy-trading feature as risk reduction. Our editorial view is that regulation should outweigh promotional features when choosing where to hold trading capital.
Common Questions
Is AdroFX FCA-authorised? No. The FCA published an unauthorised-firm warning concerning AdroFX in December 2022.
What is the minimum deposit? The current site advertises $50 for Micro, $100 for Standard, $2,000 for Premium and $10,000 for Pro. Verify this in the account-opening flow.
Is copy trading safer? No. Copy trading can reproduce another trader’s losses and leverage. Past performance is not a promise of future results.
